1 Day - Hiking and Boating - San Lan and Tizit Beach
If you like we can skip the hotel breakfast to get an early start and have some delicious breakfast at the local market. We will drive pass rice fields and rural villages until we arrive at a typical fishing village.
We stop every now and then to explain the local agriculture for example rubber and cashew nut plantations (seasonal).
We drive up the mountain range and can decide if we climb Latkhatt Thaung (Mountain, 1,25 hours one way). Currently a road is being build which you can drive up about half way. We will have lunch at San Lan Village.
After lunch we have time to take a look around the fishing village. The local people produce dry fish and fish paste (nga pyi, seasonal). The paste for Western tongues is most likely nothing to be fancy with, but for Asian people it is mouth-watering.
Afterwards we are going to take a traditional wooden boat to Tizit Beach. Enjoy the beach for yourself. Relax in the shade or swim around.
On the way back we can have a taste of the local brew called Sky Beer, which tastes a little bit like cider or German Federweiser. We arrive to your hotel in the late afternoon.
